Welcome to thehappymerchant.com online store. Prices shown are retail prices. Wholesalers are welcome and will need to register for a password before pricing will be made available. Please read the entire page before ordering. By placing an order, you agree to all the terms and conditions of thehappymerchant.com online store.


GENERAL INFORMATION

  • All products from thehappymerchant.com will ship with an oval, detachable tag identifier: Bliss BY THE HAPPY MERCHANT.
  • Wholesalers must first register for an ID and Password in order to access wholesale prices.
  • thehappymerchant.com reserves the right to refuse password requests and to cancel existing passwords.
  • Inactive accounts will be deleted from our system periodically.

 
ORDER INFORMATION

  • Our online shopping site is fully secured by SSL. This means that your credit card information is protected.
  • A confirmation email will be sent out upon completion of the checkout process. The invoice, including shipping charges, will be sent out after the order has been shipped.
  • The order confirmation email neither constitutes the acceptance of an order nor a confirmation of an offer to sell.
  • Thehappymerchant.com may call the Customer to confirm an order.
  • All orders received from Monday to Thursday before 2:00 PM EST will be shipped out the following day. All orders received after 2:00 PM EST from Friday to Sunday will be shipped out the following Monday. Exceptions apply for holidays and special occasions.
  • Orders that are cancelled after they have been shipped will incur a 30% restocking charge as well as the round trip shipping costs.
  • Thehappymerchant.com reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item, or to refuse service to any Customer.


PRICES AND AVAILABILITY

  • Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices and availability are subject to change without notification.
  • Colors shown on the products are an approximation of the original colors and may vary on different computers.
  • Naural Stones are all different. Due to this fact, thehappymerchant.com cannot guarantee that all natural stones shipped out will be exactly as the ones shown on our web site. 


MINIMUM PURCHASES AND DISCOUNT POLICY

  • Retail Canada: No Minimum. Customer is also responsible for Shipping Charges and all relevant Taxes.
  • Retail International: No Minimum.  Customer is also responsible for Shipping Charges and all relevant Taxes. 
  • Wholesale Canada: Minimum Purchase of CAD $ 200.00, plus Shipping Charges and all relevant Taxes.
  • Wholesale International: Minimum Purchase of CAD $ 300.00 plus Shipping and all other relevant Charges.
  • Shipping is free for orders exceeding CDN $ 1,000.00.


PAYMENT METHOD

  • Only Visa and MasterCard.
  • Upon receiving an order, the credit card provided will be processed for pre-authorization.
  • If pre-authorization for payment is declined, an email will be sent out immediately to notify the customer. The order will be cancelled unless valid credit card information is received by thehappymerchant.com within 48 hours of notification.
  • Our online shopping site is fully secured by SSL. This means that your credit card information given online to us will be safe. (See Privacy Policy.)
  • Note: Fraudulent Credit Card information will be forwarded to the appropriate Canadian Authorities.


SHIPPING INFORMATION

  • Goods will be shipped using Canada Post Expedited (insured) unless the Customer notifies thehappymerchant.com by email of his/her preferred alternative (for example Canada Post Priority, UPS or FedEx). Charges for Canada Post Expedited generally fall between CAD $9.00-$23.00 for most orders within Canada, and between CAD 14.00 - 24.00 within the U.S.A. (The weight and size of a package affect the cost of shipping. Therefore, the final cost can only be determined once the order is finalized at checkout.) For delivery services other than Canada Post, please check the respective courier's website for approximate shipping cost. International Parcel Post is available to reduce shipping costs.  Note that Insurance and Return Receipt is only available for certain countries.
  • Custom border fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Please ensure that you are aware of all border fees before placing your order.
  • Canada Post and thehappymerchant.com are not liable for lost packages which are not insurable.
  • All products are visually checked for damage and manufacturing defects before shipping. Customers should check for visible damage to packaging (occurred during shipping) upon delivery. If damage is apparent, it should be noted in writing on the shipper's delivery slip prior to accepting the parcel. (This is to facilitate your insurance claim against the shipper who is liable in case of actual damage). Appropriate shipping insurance should cover this eventuality.
  • Lost parcels: thehappymerchant.com is not responsible for lost or missing insured parcels during transportation. In case of a lost or missing parcel, thehappymerchant.com will submit the insurance claim on behalf of the Customer. Thehappymerchant.com cannot reimburse the Customer until the insurance claim is successfully resolved and thehappymerchant.com receives the funds from the insurer. Any shipping charges will be excluded from any refund to the Customer. Thehappymerchant.com cannot refund or credit original shipping charges to the Customer. Please note that Canada Post shipping policy requires a 60-day waiting period before a claim can be submitted.

Sales Taxes

  • Retail purchases in Canada will be subject to all applicable taxes.
  • International Retail Customers are responsible for payment of all valid taxes in their respective countries.
  • Canadian Wholesale purchases will be subject to all applicable taxes.
  • International Wholesalers are responsible for payment of all valid taxes in their respective countries. 

Return Policy

  • All returns must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Please email the following: (1) the order number, (2) description of items you wish to return, (3) the reason for the return to service@thehappymerchant.com. Unauthorized returns will not be processed.
  • For proper handling of the return, clearly mark the RMA number on the package and include a copy of RMA email from thehappymerchant.com.
  • Unless an RMA number is requested within 3 business days after the receipt of the merchandise, and the returned items are postmarked within 3 business days from receipt of the RMA number, returns will not be processed for credit under any circumstances.
  • Thehappymerchant.com will issue a store credit only for defective or damaged merchandise, as set out in our Store Policy. The original shipping charges and return shipping costs are not covered under this policy and must be assumed by the Customer.
  • There will be a 30% restocking charge on returned merchandise that is neither damaged nor defective.
  • All sales are final on promotional, sales or special order items.
  • All returned items must include all component parts. A credit will not be issued without the original packaging.
